Michelle Berryman was born and raised in Connecticut with big dreams of traveling the world and seeing cities. In her time post-college she continued to study fine arts in Chicago and would go into advertising. She is passionate about traditional materials & mixed media, and her preferences range from ballpoint pen to acrylic markers.
Lately Michelle has been experimenting with larger-scale painted illustrations. She finds she is impulsive with artistic concept/planning, so gestural movement helps overcome trepidation when applying mediums. Michelle loves and is inspired by architecture, food, and animals - you’ll often find these as subjects of her wonderfully vibrant projects!
